Alright this is Gregg. He’s got some central low back pain. I'm just showing him an exercise that I want him to do at home for treatment. Gregg, I want you to prop up on your elbows and just really relax through the small of your back. It’s a nice stretch into extension for his lumbar spine. We can call this a Mackenzie Extension stretch. Really just relaxing into a nice curve through his lower back, because Greg spends too much time through his day sitting and bending forward through this lumbar spine, this relieves some of that pressure through his lower back. I want Gregg to stay here for 30 seconds, to a minute, and as often as his can through the day. So I'd love him to do it every hour, or even more - every half an hour if he can, just to relieve his central low back pain. So that’s a Mackenzie extension exercise for low back pain.
